ART WALK WAS A SUCCESS
Thanks to our generous families the PTA Spring Art Walk and Fundraiser exceeded our expectations. We raised over $12,000 for our school! Funds will be used to support the Clay and Art Program, art supplies in classrooms, our spring drama production and so much more. It has been a great fundraising year for the PTA. All three of our fundraisers did very well creating many new opportunities for our PTA to continue our mission of enriching the social and educational development of students. Discussions are already underway with the Board, Principal Estephan, teachers and staff about new opportunities that these funds can support. Stay tuned for more next year!

We want to extend a big THANK YOU to all our Room Parent Volunteers! You planned parties, luncheons, Teacher Appreciation Week and sent out communications to our Highland Terrace Community. We couldn’t have done it all without you. Thank you for your time and effort, it was so appreciated by all!
KINDERGARTEN PLAY DATES
Attention families with incoming Kindergarteners! Mark your calendar to join us for Kindergarten play dates this summer! We meet so the kids are able to play and get to know each other as well as the parents. We hope you can make one or more of the following dates this summer. We’ll meet at the following locations, on the following dates, all from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Wednesday, July 20th at Sunset Park
Saturday, July 30th at Highland Terrace
Wednesday, August 17th at Highland Terrace

BOX TOPS for EDUCATION
Thank you for a great collection year! Please continue to submit all unexpired Box Top’s through the last day of school, extra collection sheets are in the office if you need any. Continue to collect Box Tops throughout the summer and bring them in next fall. Thanks for all your help raising PTA money this year!
IT’S TIME TO RE-LINK YOUR FRED MEYER COMMUNITY REWARDS.
Fred Meyer Community Rewards Customer Re-enrollment began on June 1, 2016 and goes through June 30, 2016. Please re-link you Rewards Card to your organization. All households that do not re-link during this period will be dropped from Community Rewards on July 1. Re-link your Rewards Card online by visiting www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. REIMBURSEMENT from PTA
Per HT PTA’s standing rules, requests for reimbursement must be received by close of business on the last day of school, June 24, 2016. Our treasurer needs to close the books and prepare everything for the financial review in July. A copy of the form may be found here
