Investigate how things work as we explore Fantastic Physics!
We’ll discover the incredible power of tiny electrons, reveal how magicians use science to create astounding illusions, examine the four forces of flight, experiment with gravity inertia and centripetal force, and uncover how these and other forces affect, everything from buildings, to water, to the air around us. Here are a few things we will do!
- Che-Mystery – Eliminate the mystery in chemistry as we explore one of the most exciting and fundamental sciences. Oberservethe difference between chemical and physical change, experiment with a dynamic dish and change water to juice.
- Stunt Planes & Gliders – The Wright Brothers would be proud as we examine the principles of flight. Test control surfaces and plane designs as we build a cool glider, delta dart and a loop flying stunt plane.
- “Current” Events – Get charged up about science as we study current electricity! Explore electrons, conductors insulators transistors and other elements in the world of circuit electricity.
- Super Structures – Uncover the strength of triangles, cylinders, and arches, consider tension, and compression, and learn how these shapes and forces make sturdy homes, earthquake-proof skyscrapers, and bridges.
