The Works has been chosen by MOD Pizza in their Spreading Modness Campaign. During the week of November 22-27, every mod-sized pizza purchased at the Lake Forest Park location (17171 Bothell Way NE) brings a much needed $1 to our awesome PTA program, The Works. Please help us spread the word far and wide. The attached poster can go on Facebook pages and websites, in newsletters and email blasts, posted in staffrooms and break rooms, distributed to BODs and school staff, and passed on to our personal and business contacts. Let’s eat some pizza!
You can find Box Tops on many of the brands you use to make Thanksgiving dinner. Remember to clip those Box Tops and turn them in at school. They really add up! Thanksgiving is also a great time to collect extra Box Tops from family and friends as you gather for the holiday weekend. Have a great break!
Orca Wear: This year we sold 229 shirts! Thanks for your purchases, and thank you to Kristina Svenkerud for the wonderful new design.
Box Tops: Thank you for submitting more than 4,500 Box Tops for our first submission of the year. Thanks to your clipping, our school will earn about $450 to support events and programs. And, we’re on track to meet our annual goal of $1,000!
Help with the Art Walk from home: Our PTA is looking for someone to help send out fundraising letters this fall to various donors in our community to help raise funds for the spring Art Walk. We have a draft letter template, as well as all the supplies you’ll need. This is an easy job that can be done from home and will really help our school. Please contact Karlee Birt firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like more information.
Mark your calendars!

All Box Tops for Education are due to the office this Friday in order to meet our next submission deadline! Please submit all unexpired Box Tops this week. Sheets can be filled or partially filled. Thank you for your help in raising funds for our school!
It’s Box Tops submission time! Our school will submit all the Box Tops we’ve collected by October 31.
If you have Box Tops you still need to turn in, here are some optional tips that’ll make the submission process easier:
- Check for expired Box Tops
- Cut Box Tops on the rectangular outline (we need the whole Box Top, but not too much extra)
- Put your Box Tops in a sealable bag or envelope
Once we send in all our Box Tops, our school will receive a check from Box Tops for Education™ in December and can use this cash to buy the things Highland Terrace needs.
Welcome back to school, parents! This is Karlee Birt and Susan Oliveto and we’re thrilled to be returning as the Box Tops for Education™ Coordinators for Highland Terrace. Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school earn cash to be used for all sorts of programs throughout our school. Last school year, we earned $850. This school year, our school’s earnings goal is $1,000. Unexpired Box Tops can be dropped off in baggies at the Box Top collection bin in the front office.
Are you a Box Tops member? Sign up at www.BTFE.com to stay updated on our school’s earnings and find a full list of over 250 participating products. Members also receive exclusive coupon offers and recipes.
We’re here to make our school’s Box Tops for Education program a huge success this year. Thanks for your help!
