Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year. The Highland Terrace PTA has a wonderful history as an active and involved organization. We have been successful because of you, our supportive members, who give so much of yourselves. WE NEED YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND SUPPORT THIS YEAR!

What do we do at Highland Terrace?

With your support, Highland Terrace PTA provides resources for enrichment programs, after school programs, classroom materials, extraordinary equipment for the school, and much more. Here are some of the things that Highland Terrace PTA is supporting this year:

• Spanish, Sewing, Math Olympiad, Chess, and Science programs
• Fall Fun Event, Pancake Breakfast, and Spring Art Exhibition
• Author/Illustrator visits
• Pacific Science Center and 5th Avenue Theatre Assemblies
• Artist in Residence, Art Kits, and Clay program

Many of these programs would not be the same -- or even exist -- without your help! Your support is vital to the continued success of these kinds of opportunities for our school.

What do we do for schools across the state?

Your membership goes beyond our school’s doors to the state and national PTA for advocacy on issues that affect all children! PTA membership gives us a voice in the Washington State and national PTA’s, enabling us to speak to the legislature regarding policies and laws affecting families and children.

How do you join?

Return the enrollment form and membership check to the Highland Terrace Office. Fees are $10.00 for an individual membership and $20.00 for two. Each paid member receives a Highland Terrace PTA student directory.
